At JYSK, you can find two basic sheet variant - flat and fitted, along with a variety of more specialty options.
Flat sheets
A flat sheet consists of one piece of flat fabric and fits a top mattress or a mattress placed in a bed frame. You place the flat sheet around the mattress and tighten it between the mattress and the bed frame. If you want to tighten your flat sheet more, use a sheet strap. Flat sheets will easily accommodate different depths of mattress and make the neatest finish.
Fitted sheets
A fitted sheet has elasticated edges that contour snugly around the mattress, ensuring a secure fit. Its elasticated corners help it stay in place. Fitted sheets are easy and simple to change, but you should be aware of the depth of your mattress to ensure that the sheet will fit.
Valance sheets
A valance sheet is designed to cover the mattress all the way to the floor. It has ruffled or pleated edges and, due to it covering the full mattress, provides a more polished appearance.
Waterproof sheets
A waterproof sheet is typically made with cotton flannel and has a waterproof polyurethane backing as well as elasticated edges. It protects the mattress from moisture and liquids.
Mattress protectors
A mattress protector is designed to protect the mattress from moisture, dirt, and wear. It is made from breathable, waterproof polyester and cotton and has elasticated edges. It can be beneficial to use a mattress protector between your mattress and your sheets

Choosing the right bed sheet size
When choosing the size of your bed sheet, it's important to know the size of your mattress to make sure the sheet will fit your bed. At JYSK, we carry a variety of sheet sizes to fit different sizes of beds. You can choose bed sheets in the following sizes:
