Sustainability in JYSK
At JYSK, we believe responsible business practices should be part of our great offer to customers.
We are working to integrate social and environmental considerations into our products and business decisions, while maintaining great value and competitive prices for our customers.
Our sustainability strategy, A Great Offer for Generations, guides our priorities and efforts.
The strategy focuses on the areas where JYSK can make the greatest impact, including climate action and social responsibility across our workplace and value chain.
As part of this work, we have committed to climate targets validated by the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), using 2022 as the baseline year. We believe transparency is important and report on our progress and activities in our Annual Report.
With A Great Offer for Generations, we strive to deliver:
“A Great Offer” which means combining products that deliver great value for money with considerations and initiatives across sourcing of raw materials to production, packaging, and transportation.
“For Generations” which means taking responsibility for the social and environmental impact we have on both current and future generations. This dedication to our customers, employees, society, and the environment is a vital part of how we work to contribute to the future for generations to come.
With our five focus areas, we address the most significant impacts, risks, and opportunities:
Climate action
Responsible value chain
Trusted quality products
Attractive and inclusive workplace
Data transparency
