Sleep soundly with a quality spring mattress

If you’re looking to replace your spring mattress, JYSK has a superb selection to suit every budget and preference. We offer a 100 night trial when you purchase a GOLD mattress.

Traditional spring mattresses provide reliable and deep support that will give great service for years to come. Spring mattresses can be used with bed frames – just choose a mattress size that fits your existing bed frame, or choose a bed frame to go with your new mattress. The springs are designed to spread weight evenly so you’ll be well supported throughout the night. Most spring mattresses are reversible and should be flipped periodically to help extend their lifespan. The construction also encourages air to circulate, preventing you from getting too warm and encouraging restful sleep.

JYSK stocks spring mattresses in different resistance levels - choose between medium, firm or very firm depending on whether you prefer to sink into a soft mattress or to have firm support. For extra comfort, you can pair your mattress with a plump mattress topper.

A spring mattress offers deep, supportive comfort and great flexibility. It consists of a spring system, a filling, and a cover. The spring system adapts to your body, providing excellent support and a luxurious feel. At JYSK, we use two types of springs for our mattresses; bonell springs and pocket springs.

What is a bonell spring mattress?

Bonell springs provide the mattress with relatively firm but bouncy support with a stable surface. A bonell spring mattress is affordable and the most budget-friendly type of spring mattress.

What is a pocket sprung mattress?

Pocket springs are smaller than bonell springs and are individually wrapped in a fabric pocket, making them move independently from each other. The pocket springs form precisely to your body, providing a more nuanced support. At JYSK, we offer regular pocket spring mattresses as well as multi-pocket spring mattresses. A multi-pocket sprung mattress consists of even smaller pocket springs that are packed more densely within the mattress. This means that the mattress offers even finer and more precise support. You can find a pocket spring mattress in the following sizes:

• Single pocket sprung mattress
• Small double pocket sprung mattress
• Double pocket sprung mattress
• King size pocket sprung mattress
• Super king pocket sprung mattress

A spring mattress fits in a bed frame. If you already have a bed frame at home, you should consider the size of your bed frame when picking the size of your spring mattress. If you don't already own a bed frame, you can consider the size of your bedroom, how many people are sleeping in the bed and how much space you prefer, when picking out your mattress size. If in doubt, you can consult our mattress size guide.
