Cute Christmas scenes and Christmas ornaments

Christmas is cosy, a time to spend with your family and friends, cuddle up with a warm throw and have a cup of hot Glühwein. There are many traditional ways to enjoy “the most wonderful time of the year” and decorate your house with ornaments and lights.

But sometimes Christmas needs a playful twist. Christmas is also time to celebrate with fun and fiesta. Take a fresh approach to Christmas with little, quirky decorations that give some edge to your interior. Some are intentionally amusing, some maybe a little 'out there'. Hang a few surprises on the Christmas tree for your guests to discover and enjoy. Among the baubles and hearts, add some charming items that will make them smile. The petrol head in the family is surely going to love the OLIVIN Christmas tree decoration with a shiny, red, retro car.

There are countless children's rooms with rainbow shaped lamps, cushions and bed linen design. But why stop there? Your kids will love it on the Christmas tree along with the MYSING Christmas parrot.

You can also add a playful Christmas twist to the décor in general. At JYSK we love the look of the Christmas elves dancing around the Christmas tree in the ELBAIT decoration. This is possibly one of those things that is going to stay in the memory of your kids, closely connected to the sweet, but oh so long wait before Christmas.

Similarly, the decoration GLADER displays a fairytale landscape of kids skating on a small lake outside of a sweet shop. Place it on the bedside table and enjoy the sight of the warm lights that flows through the windows - what could spark happier dreams?

We would love to hear about your alternative Christmas décor ideas. Tell us about it in the comments.
