Questions related to online orders

We are happy to help you with all inquiries related to orders e.g. payment options, Click & Collect or how to cancel or change your order. If you cannot find the answer to your question below, you are always welcome to contact our customer service team.

Payment

When you create your order at our website some cards get an authorization created on the account to make sure the funds are there when we capture payment. This can look like a transaction.

As a company we aren't allowed to capture payment before your order is dispatched from our warehouse, why some banks have the authorization. However this authorization is only allowed to be there 7 days. If we haven't shipped your order after 7 days the authorization will be released. Your order is still active with us and will be delivered within the promised delivery time.

When we then ship your order, and capture the payment, this can be seen on the account. 
You will receive an invoice as well when dispatched.

When you place an order online, the funds will show as 'pending' in your bank account.

We will take the funds once your articles have left our distribution centre and are on the way to our UK carrier company.

JYSK Gift cards can be used in all JYSK stores in the country and also on our website JYSK.co.uk.
Our gift cards are valid 5 years from the purchase date and can be bought in all our stores and on our website.

Please note: 

JYSK Online Store is temporary closed 
As we have received an extreme high amount of online orders on a very short period of time, we sadly have no other choice than to close down for Online ordering at JYSK.co.uk.
You can no longer place an order on our website to get delivered to your address or to a store.
Keep an eye on our website for when our online store again are open for business.
 
All our stores are open - Click & Collect is still possible from our website
All our JYSK stores across UK are again open for you to visit. 
It is possible for you to create a Click & Collect order to the store near you
But please note:

  • If the store doesn't have the article in stock, we cannot get it delivered from another store.
  • All Click & Collects must be collected and paid in the store, that holds the Click & Collect order.
  • It is not possible to postpone the collection date for Click & Collect. The Click & Collect must be collected within 2 days after the reservation has been approved by the store.
  • It is not possible to get your Click & Collect delivered to your home address, if you live more than 20 Miles from the store that holds the reservation.
    • Delivery cost will apply (gift card can only be used if the order + delivery cost are paid in store)
    • Delivery cost are calculated after distance from store
    • If you want delivery you must contact the store by phone to arrange payment and delivery (See store information in the top right corner)

Change or cancel order

If you have made the order in a JYSK store;

  • If you wish to change an order placed in store, please visit the store in which the order was made. Bring the original receipt and the store will help you change the order.
If you have made the order online;
  • Unfortunately it is not possible to amend your order. Please either submit a second order on JYSK.co.uk or ask JYSK Customer Services to delete your original order so you can create a new order online.
  • It is possible to cancel some items on your order, however this will depend on how far in the packing process the order is. Please contact our Customer Service team on our Live Chat or on Telephone 0330 088 3818  who will discuss the options available to you. If the order is already in process no changes can't be made.

For Small Parcel deliveries a delivery date can't be changed.
 
For large Cargo deliveries, delivery date can be changed up to 2 days after ordering date. Please contact our Customer Service Center on our Live Chat or on telephone 0330 088 3818.
 
In the event that you are not present at your address upon the transport company delivering your order, you will be notified by the delivery company and you will need to contact them to arrange re-delivery at a later date and you will be charged for any additional delivery.
 
We will never delivery goods to you unless you have agreed a date and time with our transport company. Our transport company will contact you, within 10 to 15 working days. Once they are in receipt of your goods you will receive a phone call to arrange a delivery date and time.

  • NB.: Order must be cancelled and refunded in the same store which the order was made.

Small deliveries – parcels
Delivery time: 5-7 working days (Mon-Fri) 

Large deliveries – furniture and other larger articles;
Delivery time: 10-15 working days (Mon-Fri)


Please note all order are delivered from our warehouse in Denmark. Due to Brexit delivery time from Denmark to UK have increased. This increased delivery time is already calculated in to the estimated times above.

Once our courier have received and handled your order, you will be contacted to arrange delivery.

All our online orders are being dispatched from our warehouse in Denmark.
Due to Brexit our deliveries can be stopped temporary in customs. The possible extra delivery time have already been calculated in to our estimated delivery time.

There will be no additional Brexit related costs when your JYSK order is delivered.
