Medium firm mattress
A medium firm mattress is a versatile choice, which provides balanced support and moderate adaptiveness. While comfort varies from person to person, generally, the heavier you are, the firmer your mattress should be, and vice versa. The mattress should be soft or firm enough to keep your spine aligned in a straight line.
Targeted support
The mattress is designed to deliver targeted support through its combination of comfort zones and layers. It is divided into 11 comfort zones that each support key areas of your body, such as the lumbar and shoulders. It consists of 4 comfort layers, which include pocket springs and AIR memory foam, each contributing to depth and overall support. Together, these elements promote targeted support and well-balanced comfort all night long.
Pocket springs
The mattress core features a 16 cm pocket spring layer with 289 springs per m². The springs create a flexible and supportive mattress that adapts to your body’s contours in any sleeping position. Each spring is enclosed in its own fabric pocket, allowing independent movement that enhances comfort and minimises noise for a more restful sleep.
AIR memory foam
AIR memory foam shapes precisely to your body, letting it sink comfortably into the mattress. It spreads your weight evenly, which helps take pressure off your muscles and joints. Plus, AIR memory foam is not affected by the room temperature, so it stays elastic and supportive, even in a cool sleeping environment.
Gel foam
Gel foam adapts to your body, letting it settle comfortably into the mattress. It spreads your weight evenly, which helps take pressure off your muscles and joints. The open cell structure and gel beads in the foam help increase airflow and lead away excess heat. This makes it a good choice if you tend to get warm while sleeping.
Washable cover
The mattress has a zipper cover that can easily be removed and machine-washed at 60°C to keep it fresh and clean. Washing at 60°C or above will remove unwanted dust mites from the fabric.

Jysk is honest and proactive
This isn't the first mattress I've bought from Jysk. They generally score very well in quality ratings. This time, I bought a heavily discounted mattress. It is currently unavailable because it was damaged when it arrived at the carrier's premises. Customer service contacted me to offer either a refund or to wait for a period of time. I opted for the latter. After all, you only throw your old mattress away once the new one arrives. Then, completely unexpectedly, Chris offered to refund the shipping costs — free delivery — as a gesture of goodwill for my patience. I also have to give Chris credit for being so proactive. I didn't have to do anything. I've had very different experiences with other suppliers, especially when artificial intelligence is used instead of customer service staff. A great nights sleep at last
I’ve been sleeping for almost 2 years on an Emma and have spent most of that time rolled down to the edge of the bed. Yesterday I bought the Gold S35 and what a difference! It’s unbelievably comfortable in comparison to my old mattress and I can sleep in any position without feeling like I’m climbing a hill in the centre of the bed. I also did not sweat at all in the night. The quality and feel of this mattress is excellent and I’m so happy with it. They advised to buy a topper to protect it in case I wanted to return it within 3 months trial! Well I’m sorry, but you’re not having it back! There’s no way I’m parting with it. And just to emphasise how well made it is, you get a 25 year guarantee that it remains comfortable and doesn’t suffer any natural defects. It won’t last 25 years due to wear and tear, body sweat etc.. no mattress does! But the quality of the mattress will hopefully last many many years
